Isn't it crazy how involved Nicki is in the VMAs this year without a nom? Like that's power.
That or its shade that mtv wouldn't nominate her (especially considering the videos they did nominate) and she is greasing palms to get her those vmas for the next year.
Anaconda and ha other videos gon collect dem vmas come 2015...
And see thats why you are cut from a different cloth because you do your homework...bravo.
Can't wait for nicki to perform like crazy 4 times 2014 vmas (bang bang, anaconda, the usher song, flawless remix) and then sit back and collect ha 4+ vmas during the pinkprint for anaconda and 3rd and 4th singles
Rhythmic has been responding extremely well. The spins look dope for pop just hope the audience picks up. Urban is taking it's time but coming along & what are bullets ?
I don't hate it. I just want them to play Anaconda instead of playing in old single.
Lol when I said don't hate I meant the sassy funny one not the ONS they use on here and true enough. Urban takes their time catching on to the crossovers
Can always count on aatthew to stay informed before answering a question.
Thanks.
Also, in reference to the posts above its not a bad thing that urban is takin time to spin anaconda.
I mean fancy is #1 on urban.
If you barbz think strategically its good because it allows the song to grow on another format while peaking elsewhere and leads to longevity.
Hopefully. Pop and rhy embrace anaconda more instantly and when it is closer to peaking in later September/October then urban can push it more
I mean look at pnp slaying on urban after peaking on other formats.
Back in the 2000s urban crossover songs would be pushed on urban at first and once it hit #1 it would be pushed on pop.
For some reason, with songs like dark horse and fancy its done the other way but it works out well in the end either way.
With the added stations and reclassification of what is rhythmic vs urban that has something to do with it as well
