I think Discipline will end up selling more than A Decade Of Hits

I could see it being a failure because her fans built her up to be some goddess legend, but in reality she is nowhere near The Eagles or AC/DC's status.

Some people worry too much about artists they hate, they know how much they have sold and all their singles peak. Truly amazing.

True "legends" didn't release their GH albums in 2008 during an economic collapse either.

And letscauseascene1, AC/DC and the Eagles released albums of ALL NEW MATERIAL after a LONG hiatus (8 years and 28 years, respectively).

What is with some of you people? We're talking only ONE WEEK of sales so far. You can't really gauge the album's success in less than 7 days, sorry. Wait six months and then maybe the term "flop" might actually be legit, but as of now it's selling just fine.

All this excuse about it only being released in Target is hilarious. Isn't target one of the biggest music stores on America? Yet after the numbers came out, these Christina fans started acting as if Target is some sort of local market!


On Tuesday, we can officially add her GH album to the list.

Of course, but I think you know as well as I do that they would at least sell six figures. I was going to give Mariah's 'Ballads' as an example, but I don't think it will sell very well because she's going through a rough patch. That's the difference--Christina isn't, really. People are ready for new music from her. She's just bringing mediocrity in "Keeps Gettin' Better."

Why is that surprising? At least Ashanti is consistently OK, if not good. Nelly's album sucked. Period.
