Sonic 2 obviously. Super Mario 64 is one of the most overrated games of its time.

Sonic 2 was excellent, but Super Mario 64 is arguably in the top 10 best video games of all time. It wins, without a question.

Super Mario 64 defined my childhood. I didn't go a day without playing it when I got my N64!
Sonic 2 pales in comparison.

I like Sonic 2, but SM64 is the better game overall, much more content and fewer design flaws like Sonic 2's inescapable spike pit.
