A smart and established artist shouldn't care about singles anymore and here is why. There is a reason why RS, Madonna, Bon Jovi and all the great artists don't bother catering to the masses like they did when they first started. Beyoncé is just following that path and if any of the current girls are smart, they need to start thinking about it:

So if there are 3 songwriters and one singer, we can say they'll probably get 8.75% each.
