Obama did the right thing; he made sure that the right departments of government were involved, addressed the public in a calm way (condemning both the looters and the violent police while protecting the peaceful protesters), threatening greater action on BOTH sides if it escalates further, etc.

There's no way to misinterpret what he did as the wrong response

ONTOPIC: The police is always blow out of proportion. Where I live at, they basically judge you, I honestly feel so bad for the people who they check them head to toe. Thank god I was never choosen.

I 100% agree with everything you're saying... but, I think if anymore attention is paid to the situation by the President it's just going to make things worse before they get any better.

Let the FBI & DOJ go in and conduct their investigations and see where it goes from there. The last thing anyone needs if for the situation to get more violent and have more lives potentially lost.
