I think centering is nice for gifs, but overall it is bad forum etiquette.
When user's are scrolling down the page it causes the reader to pay more attention to your post and generally miss replies above and below yours that are left justified, and just as valuable. This is especially true among ATRL's too long didn't read demo.
I used to have blue coloured text along with my font, Euphemia, but I decided to retire her after the negative feedback received since her debut. I shelved her first album and then had to re-think my marketing strategy, instead opting to go for the basic, plain black text and default font. Her 'Naked' era.
