Kelly is too boring and has no star power. The half time show is suppose to draw viewers, not put them to sleep

Like you said, Kelly's performance would be better and everyone knows it. And she is also more fitting for the type of audience since she can deliver uptempo anthems that everyone and their grandmother can sing along to. No one knows any Carrie songs except BHC. She is irrelevant outside the Country crowd and that's why she doesn't have any international presence, unlike Shania or Taylor. Kelly could put on a big show if she wanted to and she's proven with the Inauguration and National Anthem that she can deliver in live settings.

So you're just gonna ignore the first part of what I said? Carrie draws in more viewers, it's an actual fact. The Superbowl doesn't care if Australia is watching it. They want a lot of people in the US to watch it. Carrie is bigger in the US. It's common sense to see who they would go for.

The answer is Kelly. But not to the next SB but 2016 Carrie has great voice but that's it, it would be bored, as a non american person, watch the halftime show

You guys act like if the SB is only watched by the people in US it would be a mistake choose Carrie. If they want some country, a better option would be Dixie Chicks or something at that level.

And honestly I don't get why Carrie stans always says she is the #1 AI, I know she has sold like a million more than Kelly in US but when in the world is LOCAL >> WORLDWIDE? Where's the logic?

Carrie is a bigger ratings drawer. Kelly is a better performer. Neither of them have the star power to pull it off. /thread

Neither would be fit for a Superbowl tbh. They aren't great performers, but they are great vocalists. Carrie is just awkward when she dances and Kelly can't dance at all so that's that.
