With Carrie being rumored for the next Super Bowl, everyone can't help but think they chose the wrong Idol. Kelly deserves it more and would put on the better show.
Carrie is a living legend and has a much bigger US fanbase so I'm not sure what you're talking about! Why are Kelly Clarkson fans always so bitter about Carrie!
Kelly should do a halftime show, but not now. I'm going to be as nice about this as I can, but people who are irritated about Carrie possibly performing at the halftime should sit on a cactus and shush.
She has sold more albums in the U.S than Kelly, has a higher tour gross than Kelly, has more multi platinum singles.

Carrie doesn't deserve it simply because she wouldn't be as successful (probably irrelevant) if it weren't for Kelly paving the way for future Idol winners. And Kelly IS the most successful AI winner in the US, according to Billboard.
Neither of them would be anywhere near my first choice for the Superbowl but Carrie is a much more entertaining performer imo. And no shade but I doubt that Kelly would be invited to perform at a stadium when she can not fill 1,400 capacity theatres.
Well as long as Kelly struggles selling out her own tours, I doubt she will be asked at any point in her carreer.
Carrie, by far. People love to see her in concert, she's the better performer, more consistent in hits, better selling albums, and just has way more star appeal in the US.
