This is actually kinda sweet. One of the sweetest she's ever released tbh. It's so slow and relaxing kinda like Lovalot sonically, not at all lyrically. Surprised this wasn't on the album actually I prefer IIWII by far but if everyone else seems to hate it this would've been a more than welcome replacement.
Sequencing really isn't Maya her talent. I feel like this would get more recognition if it wasn't next to Lights because the songs are pretty similar.
If there's one thing notable about Matangi it's that it's arguably her most accessible, and this song really exemplifies that. I love listening to this song when I'm feeling down. The perfect pick-me up
Also I always drag Maya for burying her vocals but it actually works out well here. Slay Maya
