I don't think anyone would be interested in his death. That hurts anyone more than helps anyone. Any positive effect of him being out of the game is outweighed by Marina coming in. Plus, it's really serious to blame some party specifically for this, as many idiots are doing around social media.

I am not saying someone did this, but this crash is odder for me under the circumstances. They will proceed with investigations soon and find out what happen with the plane.

His party is Socialist but their program is Center/Center-left. They were supporters of the government until 2012.
However the conservatives (or the politically illiterate, i.e. 75% of our population) blame the WP for things from Brazil losing a volleyball game or meteorites falling in Russia. (For real. They do that.)
The fact they're always so highly publicised is because they actually hardly ever happen.
