I see a lot of people here saying that singers like Tony Bennett and Cher are legends.But i don't really think so.They are icons but not legends.
Yes they both had a 50+ years plus careers but for the most part of it they were not even succesfull.Cher has like 2 known hits and Tony....well i don't know him.But he never had a album that went at least 2x platinum.
Artists like Rihanna and Gaga are already more succesfull and both have more hits.
10 years with tons of hits and impact>>>>50 years with few hits and less imact.

Well Gaga will be a legend thanks to her huge peak during her debut, smash EP and her hit album Born This Way despite ATRL's idea that her career is fading quick.
