People call Paulina Rubio and Thalia the Queen & Princess of Pop, yet half of the music-buying World haven't heard of the two. Should these girls really be the Queen & Princess of Latin Pop. In my opinion, Gloria Estefan is the real Queen of Latin Pop, and Shakira or Jennifer Lopez are the Princesses of Latin Pop. What is your opinion?

I agree But however, I do like some of Paulina's songs. I just don't think they are Queen & Princesses of Latin Pop. Shakira has been a huge International success, and hasn't even been credited just because she's only been out for atleast 10 years. That doesn't change the fact that she's had 3 huge international hits, "Hips Don't Lie" being one of the 10 biggest selling songs of the 21st Century. Plus Gloria Estefan has been round for over 20 years, and isn't credited ?

Thalia can't even sell an album anymore so no. Paulina is just there.. Gloria Estefan is so last decade. Jennier Lopez is irrelevant now.

Well Paulina and Thalia were never so famous outside South American, sooo... Gloria is definitely the queen, Jennifer has made really much for the latin actresses and singers and Shakira has an amazing commercial success... and for me Kat DeLuna is nobody, it's like calling Nicole the Princess of R&B

Thalia has been very famous here in the Philippines. Her soaps Marimar and Maria Mercedes is on the top 10 most watched show on free TV of all time by ratings

Im from Puerto Rico and at least here and from what i know in latin america NOBODY see them as queens or nothing!!! they been making hits from long time but they dont have any respect in the music industry specially Paulina who also its a lot more sucessfull than thalia, Thalia seems to have lost the touch cause people are not interested in her anymore...

Theres just one female to this days that really sell albums and arenas in latin america and shes Shakira... shakira From Mexico to Puerto Rico to Argetina is HUGE.... shes been the queen when it comes to music in latin america for the last 13 years
