Eww, some people should just shut their mouth if they don't know what they're talking about. They should feel grateful that they've never been in a position like Robin was where he felt his only choice was suicide. The religious people criticizing him can shut up as well , who cares if it's a 'sin', no one is interested. Go talk/pray to your God yourself and don't splash it all over the internet insulting a dead man.

But seriously, it shouldnt even be discussed, people with depression need to be help not bashed. So while I agree suicide is a cowards way to a solution,calling people who do that that doesnt help others who are alive with depression.

This is coming from someone who liked Robin and wish he took other steps to help his depression.

Also Faux news shouldve been shut down ages ago.

That should NEVER be anyone's only choice. I'm glad this is bringing more awareness about depression and how serious it is. Hopefully it'll help some of the depressed youth to think twice without picking that option as well as have people pay more attention now.

I agree with you, but that's not the way some people feel. You can't just tell them "No, don't do that" and it's all good. To some people they believe it literally is the only choice. It's heartbreaking.

Shep Smith is one of the few people I don't know but may be able to say I hate. Fox News is abhorrent, offensive, and cruel.

Depression is an illness. Not a feeling.
I think people forget this.

You are no longer mentally stable, and you don't think in a way a normal person does. A person with depression so severe, often see suicide as a way out, not in a literal sense, but the mind convinces them that suicide will make the pain go away.

Leaving people behind, never crosses their mind, because they see that everything will be better. And the illness makes them believe that everything will work out in the end.

It's very sad. People don't just have a bad day and jump off a bridge.

You do realise that people with depression aren't in the mental state to think like a normal human, when it gets to that stage.

"Think twice before picking that option" is wrong, because people with depression often don't have the capabilities to think. It's an illness that overpowers your mind. It makes you believe that the only way the pain will go away is by ending it all, and then everything will be okay.

Most suicides are depression so isn't cowardly
