She is an amazing artist. She's the Lil Wayne of country! Or better yet, the Britney Spears of country! Her only contenders are Carrie and Shania if she ever decides to release that new album! Country is a HUGE album seller in the US. This makes up for the single sales of country music.

Yes please fix what you said because Lil Wayne only had one good album sales and its inflated from the featured success of 2007 so wait till the Carter 4 come out and you will see how he'll struggle to 1 million like Usher did.

GnR doesn't have the same hype to me as say, AC/DC did.
|
Okay, I REALLY disagree with this. We're talking a band that hasn't released an album in, like, 15 years. Yeah, Black Ice was AC/DC's first album in eight years, but Chinese Democracy almost doubles that wait.

Kanye would have to release like 5 singles at once. I can't see anyone beating Guns N Roses.

Um, yeah right. Like he's gonna repeat Tha Carter III.....he'll be lucky enough if he breaks 400K with his next CD.

I was thinking the same...this is just like Usher with Confessions and let's not forget that Usher was way bigger than Wayne.

YOUR FEARLESS WEAKEND TOP 10 CHART PREVIEW: This is clearly Taylor Swift’s moment, as the 18-year-old prodigy follows the universal (see how we did that?) critical hosannas for her sophomore album on Big Machine with what is shaping up as a stunning 550-600k bow. Youth will also be served in the #2 slot, which will be occupied by the debut Idol runner-up David Archuleta (Jive/ZLG), with a projected 200-210k. There’s a battle shaping up for #3 between two more debuts: Archuleta’s labelmate T-Pain and UMe’s Now 29, as both trend toward 160-170k. This week’s charttopper, the soundtrack to Twilight (Chop Shop/Atlantic), is jockeying for the #5 position with AC/DC (Columbia), as each appears on course for 100-110k. The second half of the leader board will most likely be occupied by Reprise’s debuting Enya (90-100k), Disney’s High School Musical 3 (85-90k), RCA/RMG’s Target exclusive on Christina Aguilera (bowing with 70-80k) and either Grand Hustle/Atlantic’s T.I. or Columbia’s John Legend (both looking 60-65k-ish). (11/14a)

OK, I think of the 4 debuts, Taylor will have the best run. David might be 2nd because of his crazy AI fanbase. Knowing the NOW franchise, it will probably be right up there in 3rd.

Make it three then, cause I share you both opinion.

Trust me, If I was in the US by that time last year, I would have bought Kanye's album only because I loathe 50 Cent - And I think other people think the same way.

Christina's sales are actually really good seeing that it's a Greatest Hits compilation that is only being sold at Targets!
TAYLOR!!!!!!! 600k! That's AWESOME! She's going to outsell Jonas Brothers, making her the most sold first week album for a teenager in 2008!
