I completely disagree, it's a slippery slope once you start messing with freedom of speech laws. As vile as their speech is, discrimination and other related laws are in place to protect individuals should they choose to act on their beliefs.

It's already limited though, you can't really say anything anti-government without the NSA or CSI/FBI spying on you claiming your a terrorist.

No. They should be allowed to speak. Anybody should be allowed to speak.

Social hate is enough of a punishment for what they say. It's a very slippery slope when you limit ANY freedom of speech.

What country are you living in? I could trash my government to the pits of hell and back, I could walk directly upto our PM and tell him what a horrible job I think he's doing and I'd be fine.

Governments are spying on everyone, that's not restricting free speech. I don't think any western government would stop free speech, even if that speech was less than favourable towards them.
