The album is at 380k in the US and 800k worldwide.

Both her singles were hits (C&GI at 2.3m and Slow Down 900k) and had massive promo all the over radio and TV.

She toured North America, Europe and Asia.

Had 2 movies out the same year.

I was under the impression (#1, #2) that Stars Dance was going to be her biggest era ever when its her worst selling album in the US and worldwide and its quite shocking honestly!

Why did it underperform/flop? why did it only sell half of her previous album despite scoring her biggest hit ever?
