The Holy Bible extends its gap at #1 every single year, leaving other best-selling books i.e. A Tale of Two Cities, The Lord of the Rings, etc... which sold ~200M copies far far behind and almost-impossible to catch up to.

Jokes apart, I don't believe in any of the stories it tells, but I think its message as a whole is beautiful. In the end, its message is to respect each other.
