But what matters is people are finally talking about it and requesting it on radio. During release week I didn't hear it anywhere but at work I've heard it like 3 or 4 times in the last week.

It was definitely a hit when it went #1 but during release week it didn't feel like a hit because airplay and streaming was low. Basically she got to #1 on her fanbase alone and the GP weren't as aware as they normally are that Cheryl is releasing a comeback single. But now it feels like a hit since airplay and streaming have picked up and the GP are buying it now, which is what is keeping it stable on iTunes.
I can't wait for the XF performance. It'll probably be 10x bigger than the BGT one.

Where have they been playing it? Capital or Radio1? I've been thinking it was probably their plan to just release a single to hype us fans and people during the summer to get her name out there and prepare us for the real slayage once the XF starts. I'm hoping this is the case and they'll go all out once the second single is released since it'll be the once selling the album.

There's a new Rizzle Kicks song which is 1 place behind her on iTunes but I'm assuming their streaming will be low and they aren't getting that much airplay so they aren't really a threat to her. The new Sats single will definitely miss the top 20 once streaming is factored in.
Those three are the only new releases that will make the top 40.
