Let em' marry. If it isn't hurting/affecting your personal life, then why be so up in arms over it? There are other, much more serious things in the world that humanity needs to worry about; two men/women getting married should not be a problem and shouldn't cause such an outrage.
It should be allowed to be done through the government. Religious institutions shouldn't have any obligation to host gay weddings though.
To be honest, maybe the government should refer to what they call "marriages" as "civil unions." And not just for gay people as some places do now, but for straight people as well. Therefore, everyone gets the same benefits without controversy over the term. Marriage would then be strictly the religious term for a civil union. Of course, if this were to happen, people would still complain because they want to force everyone to conform to what they believe is right.
I think gay marriage is good and people who aren't being affected shouldn't have a problem with it because ultimately it's someone else's life. For some reason alot people are so invested in other people's personal lives even though it has nothing to do with them.
I think marriage is stupid, but if people want to then let them. Hetero and closet gay politicians blow me with this, like your values are not more important than anyone else's. Close that damn book and use some common sense.
There should obviously be marriage equality. You love who you love. Marriage is a joke anyway, with crazy high divorce rates, so there is not such thing as the sanctity of marriage.
Hopefully in 10 years or less, people who don't support it will be looked as down upon as people on the wrong side of history for other equality issues. History (rightfully) isn't too kind to those people.
