It's not presumptuous at all. It's the truth. He loved his family and they loved him, and this photo of one quote of "the worst thing is to end up with people who make you feel alone" has been picked up and is making its way around the internet for people to reblog and go "mmmm yes, that's so true."
I don't think it's an accurate depiction of who he was. And yeah, depression can make you feel that way, but I don't think the family that loved him would have ever made him feel alone. In fact that would have fought tirelessly to make him feel less alone.
