Would you ever help cover up a crime to protect your family?
If, heaven forbid, you found yourself in such a situation, knowing that your parent/sibling is guilty of a crime that would result in decades behind bars and being relatively sure that you could help cover up that crime and spare your them, would you do it?
Would you lie to police, help cover up a body? Or would call a lawyer then call the police or would you disown them completely?
Honestly, if my mom came crying to me, confessing that she just murdered someone and begging for me to help her- I don't even know what I'd do. As much as it would pain me to see my own family suffer, I'd know that there was another family somewhere suffering even more because of what happened, and the guilt of keeping them from receiving closure and some peace would eat at my soul forever.
I would. I'd destroy the evidence (whatever that involved) help create alibis, etc. I would literally stop at nothing to help protect them, and they'd do the same for me.

If someone killed your family member and someone helped cover up the murder, wouldn't you be upset?
If my family member killed someone, they deserve the legal reprimanded procedure.
I'd be livid, but I'm not thinking about the victims family, I'm thinking of mine and the prospect of having them locked up. It's hypocritical and selfish but I'd do whatever i had to in order to protect them
