Wait, I thought water evaporated over the sea (meaning the salt stayed behind), was collected in clouds, which then moved over land and mountains and then rained it down on us. So...unless the seas dry up.

There is very little freshwater that's available for use, and desalinization is incredibly expensive. The world is going to be in some deep **** as soon as 2020. Look up carrying capacity. No population can grow indefinitely and humans are about to experience their fallback.
