Anything Goes still outpeaked The Lady Is A Tramp on iTunes, which was a much better catchy cover and was dropped during BTW when Gaga's selling power was a lot bigger than it is now.

No one expected anything from Anything Goes. A two minute jazz cover isn't going to debut 200k+. There's a reason you rarely see jazz singles chart. The jazz community doesn't buy digital $1.29 singles. The last time a jazz single went top 30 on iTunes was Tony's duet with Amy (which received airplay unlike Anything Goes and benefited from Amy's death).

- Lots of people here asked for Applause to be gifted cause they had no money to buy it
- She released this song without announcement
- Pretty sure moooooooost of her young fans don't even like Jazz but will still buy the album just to support her

My boyfriend is a huge Gaga stan, earns money and didn't buy Anything Goes cause he thinks it's boring lol. So what do you expect?
