I could see anything Les Misérables (the musical) related a thousand times and still love it, a couple years before I saw the musical I wanted to read the book but I didn't even get through half of it, too many descriptions going on

Les Miserables was that boring musical, right? If so, THAT **** WAS BORING! We watched that in one of my classes two years ago, and I actually fell asleep to it. I barely fall asleep in dirty places like school too.

Zac would be a fitting choice for Fiyero - mindless, bumbling love interest that is hot stuff but falls for the awkward gal. His vocals ain't too bad but I don't know if he could sing the higher sections of Dancing Through Life!

I remember hearing rumors right after Les Miserables came out. Weren't they trying to get Samantha Barks (Eponine in LM) to be Elphaba?

BTW Samantha Barks should have been nominated that year (though not as much as Eddie Redmayne)! Supporting Actor and Actress were so pathetic that year. That wasted nomination on Amy Adams filler performance in The Master.

I think Glinda is the secret meaty role. Everyone wants to be Elphaba since the story revolves around her.. but acting, and musically, wise there is so much more depth to Glinda. Her side of the story is remarkably less cliche. I don't know who they could cast as Glinda. Even Lea Michele would be a good choice for Elphaba, since she looks so much like Idina.
