Wait, but this ad is technically blaming the parents for starting to give their kids sweets...... That's so stupid and doesn't make sense?

The only time it's acceptable to blame parents is when they don't even bother making an effort in trying to teach you about
why some foods are bad for you at an early age.
I have three nieces and three nephews, and yeah, we give them chocolate and french fries and sweets from time to time, but they themselves have self control and tell us when enough is enough. Just the other day my six year old niece told me that I'm giving her and her brother too much chocolate and that I need to calm down - I gave them 1/3 of a Galaxy bar. My other niece who's five made a convincing argument that they should be allowed to eat at McDonalds once in a month because even though it's junk food, once in a month should be okay because it's not that much. That's because when we tell them that something is not healthy, we give them a reason why. Reasoning makes a huge difference, believe it or not.
But excluding that, if you're obese or fat, the only person you can blame is yourself. Everyone has self control. Even a bunch of little kids. Some are just too weak. Inject Me. has a point by mentioning survival of the fittest.

Literally they direct unhealthy habits to children that they want parents to follow and honestly it's so sad how things are turning into. Statistically speaking 1 of 3 U.S. adults will have diabetes by 2050 and it's because of this. The food industry is probably the #1 reason to blame. Those gmo foods they put on shelves that has chemicals into them to make it even more addicting is horrible. Also the sugar consumption nowadays is HORRENDOUS which is leading to the biggest epidemic the US is going to face real soon.

Not from the US, but I eat fast food at least 6 times a month, but I balance it out with exercise and eating healthy some of the other days and I'm perfectly fine. I don't have abs or anything - because I don't go to the gym or work out like that or lift weights etc -, but I'm neither fat or obese either. It all comes down to self control.
