Would you want to be internet famous like Viners/YouTubers/Instagram people now? Where people are in love with you for making funny videos or looking good?


For me.. yes and no, mostly no. Although I make fun of internet famous people, they're getting paid, get to travel and are getting their names out there to do other things. But the down side is people dig up your past, you get hate and you have a lot less privacy. Also you're not taken seriously because you don't really have singing or acting talent.

When I hear that the top youtubers are making MILLIONS every year just from their videos, that makes it seem appealing but for the most part no, when somebody asks what you do and you say 'internet famous' it sounds kind of embarrassing

I think it's a good way to get your foot in the door into the entertainment industry, so yes, but, at the same time, I feel like you have to dumb yourself down a lot. The content you have to provide has to be very teen-friendly; it's almost like you have to pander to a certain demographic.

Yes because it'll be fun and a great way to pass time when you have nothing to do. Not to mention having a lot of boys and girls falling in love with you because of the simplest and most ridiculous things would be fun and nice to have. Also, if you reach a certain level of fame, you get invited to award shows and you can easily meet your faves and many other celebrities, and you can also get paid a lot of money.

No because with fame comes haters - obviously. It would suck and make you feel really bad when you read the hate comments about why you don't deserve to be famous and so on. Also, having old pictures and random things you've said exposed might be really bad for your future reputation and so on.

Yes. I want to be a youtube star and once I have millions of fans I can become a real celebrity.

Radio, TV, Film, and Internet are mediums that spit out celebrities and I don't find any of these invalid sources for fame. These Internet stars are making a lot of money doing what they love, and who doesn't want that? It could even lead to bigger things so why not?
