Are you two convinced that everyone who says yes in this thread is going to force their children into dresses just to do some weird fight the power movement? Why do I even continue to respond to these posts?

I'm going to give my child a choice. Something that you won't. I'm going to try to teach my child to be an individual person and to build his character the way he wants it, without thinking about what others will think of him. If he decides to follow my advice, great, good for him. If he doesn't, I won't mind.

Because that's my point, I'm giving him a choice. I'm not forcing my beliefs on him, or restricting his own personality just so he could grow up into a person with fears and self-hatred. Not pointing any fingers, but damn.

I'm not acting like a fool in the slightest because if you would read one of my first post I was mentioning that I believe this is more of a whether you're a liberal parent question rather than whether you would endanger your child to give him freedom question.

You can't tell me that I'm living in a fantasy world because there's no such thing as homosexuality in my town solely for the reason that everyone is afraid of the consequences. Which leads me to the fact that I have to repeat my arguments over and over again because you people simply won't read.

Basically, every argument you throw at me I've already answered it a couple of pages back. From carefully explaining the potential threat that a child might be under if they choose to pursue those kind of actions to steps being taken to control that threat as much as possible.
