I feel like it didn't happen with TF like it did for every other album because:

a) Bad Romance came out while the Paparazzi era was still underway
b) there are only 4 good songs on TF and they were all singles

That's funny, because I don't seem to remember the Summerboy, Brown Eyes, Paper Gangsta and I Like It Rough era.

Every album has had at least two songs that fans avidly wanted as singles.

The Fame: Starstruck and Boys Boys Boys
The Fame Monster: Dance In the Dark and Monster
Born This Way: Scheiße and Heavy Metal Lover
ARTPOP: Venus and Gypsy

Monster and Gypsy are the only ones that should've been singles

Bad Romance is truly a great song, but I must admit that it is a tad bit overrated by many, many people. Perhaps it's that overrating that has caused it to drop lower and lower on my list of favorite Gaga songs. It used to be in my top ten, but now... It's not even my favorite RedOne produced/co-produced song, nor is it my favorite mega-smash hit of hers. (Those would be Alejandro/Scheiße and Poker Face, respectively.) It is a superb song, just not as great as so many people make it seem, in my opinion of course.

Welp, just as I was writing this, Bad Romance came on my Spotify and I've basically rediscovered it. How ironic. It's even back in my top ten songs (for now).

The Poker Face video is so clever. I must admit that I was able to avoid it because the song was never my absolute favorite (love it as a ballad though). The songs good to me now but it's still not in my top twenty. The music video is just so clever and smart though, what kind of crazy momentum from JD and BDR MVs to Poker Face?
