The thing with 5H is that they don't have a huge stanbase and the GP doesn't care about them. I wouldn't expect them to win one award. Look at how these other artists compare to 5H as far as their stanbases and the GP are concerned:
1D: Not much GP support but their stanbase is enormous.
Bieber: Almost zero support from GP and his stanbase is shrinking fast. At his peak had a stanbase on par with 1D's but still lots of GP contempt.
5SOS: Stanbase is second only to 1D in size, but they're relatively unknown amongst the GP.
Katy: The GP love her even though her stanbase pales in comparison to 1D's.
Gaga: Stanbase comparable to Katy's but far less GP support.
Taylor: Stanbase bigger than most pop girls, but still nothing on 1D and 5SOS. However, she has major GP support.
Ariana: Has a bigger stanbase than Katy but smaller than Taylor, and really strong GP support but not on Katy's level.
Selena: Stanbase on par with Ariana, but much less GP support.
Demi: Same as Selena.
Miley: Similar to Ariana, but higher GP interest.
Austin: Around where Ariana/Selena/Demi are, but lacking in GP support.
Ed Sheeran: On Austin's level and with better GP and Directioner support.
You see, all of these artists have better odds to win than 5H.
