Do people still 'bop' to Bad Romance? It's probably one of my least favourite Gaga singles, it's genuinely a chore to listen to.

They surely wouldn't go for ACT II now - it makes very little strategic, business or artistic sense.

I am curious as to what they're planning though. Even if you don't believe that she'll follow through...it's interesting that there's chat of an acoustic album, C2C tour and her new direction is pop/rock.

It comes across like album #5 isn't happening any time soon, but they have side projects to tide things over.

But if it was an app release, you wouldn't have any HDD threads, because there wouldn't be sales or chart positions or anything like that. People would actually appreciate the music not the bling - to name drop a phrase we all loathe

And the space performance being pushed back is probably nothing to do with Gaga, more to do with logistics. I wonder how it might **** up her plans for album 5 though? If she has any.

If she releases an 'Act II' of sorts for free through the app, then what does it matter?

I do hope she has a new album, or at least a lead single, ready to premiere at the space launch. I don't want her pulling a Beyonce with that.

Act II for free through the app would be amazing, they can track the number of individual downloads, where these people are situated so they'll know where she's most or least popular etc + it'll give them an indication as to if people are still willing to give her a chance or not

Hopefully the "acoustic album" is the rock/power ballad album.

I think summer of 2015 would be better for the space performance, that is, if shes going to perform the first single from album 5 during it.

Oh God I just remembered the halftime performance. I wouldn't put it past Gaga to do something like that.

I was actually just thinking, the biggest part of the app update they're probably still working on could be the metrics and how to track all the downloads and streams and demographics and all that stuff. Because this could be a great way to determine all that stuff.

Additionally, it'll really push this music not the bling thing one more time and prove that Gaga just doesn't give a **** how many people buy her album. Could definitely give her some positive press.

Can you imagine how many albums Beyonce would've sold if she surprise dropped her album on iTunes right after the Superbowl performance? MILLIONS. It would've been so huge

Obviously this isn't the same situation, but Gaga would be so dumb to waste this opportunity
