Could be an interesting move. Get a Greatest Hits out there without really doing one, capitalise on newfound demographics after C2C who wouldn't buy the dance/pop records, tease a stripped back 'Stefani' album without actually ditching the familiar Gaga pop material. It'd be awesome if it was released alongside an intimate theatre/hall tour. Perhaps they record it live at one of the dates? "Lady Gaga live at Carnegie Hall".
What if they released acoustic Gypsy as the single? Gave it a video? What if she surprise released it, dedicating it to Taylor at the end/announcing their engagement? "For my fiance, Taylor." Easy press coverage.
