Alicia Keys
P!nk
And im sure there are tons of other females who have lasted this long, let alone if we add males and groups

Her relevance = 1998 to 2014.

We count how long she has been relevant, not when she started. She may started in 1998 but she's relevant since Genie In The Bottle until end of Back to Basics era.

If you consider the Try This era a flop and irrelevant till IND (which is 2004 to 2006) it makes it 2 years
P!nk has been in the game for 14/15 - still more than 10 years of relevancy
But stay mad coz none in your sig will have that

Beyoncé has been sitting pretty for 17 years and her legacy is still questioned by the stans on ATRL of the artists she continues to outsell.

No. Legends need to also have memorable hits, iconic songs/performances/videos, impact.

Being around for 50 years doesn't make you a legend, you're a legend if you've paved the way, performed exceptionally consistently for the majority of your career, displayed unique skills, changed the industry, defined a genre etc. Plenty of artists from the 80s are still playing that no one cares about.

That'd mean Rihanna would be a legend in 1 year. Hmm I agree.

Take your own advice and look it up. Her pregnancy photo shoot alone gained a lot of attention.

Xtina does, and she is in his sig. She is more relevant in the media than Pink, despite Pink being more successful. I'd consider that star power and relevancy.

EXACTLY. For example, someone like Pink doesn't have that. That is what people don't understand.

Okay first of all i hadn't noticed Xtina in his sig, sorry
Second: Xtina being more relevant than P!nk is debatable
Third: if you think someone who can sell miilions of albums, have 150m+ tours while being irrelevant or having little to no star power - you are just as delusional as BlueClosetedP!nkStan

Memerable hits: GTPS, JLAP, Family Portrait, So What, Sober, U & Ur Hand, and now Try and JGMAR
Iconic hits: at the very least DENYING that GTPS is iconic is delusion
Iconic performaces: Glitter In The Air (in fact VERY few others have a performance as iconic as that.)
Impact: Adele, Katy, Kelly, and according to many respectable magazines and critics artists like Rihanna & Gaga
You are so biased

It really isn't debatable. Even at her lowest there has always been an interest in Xtina's personal and professional life, documenting her every move. I don't get that with Pink. She is very successful but has always lacked attention. I'm not being a hater, just realistic.

I guess it is more low-key with her so it is hard to say. She is really underrated. I'm not biased, I actually like Pink's music and listen to her from time to time.

Yes that is true but P!nk has never been the one to like all the attention that much. She is more of a home person.
OT, it really depends. Do they have iconic songs, music videos, still have successful tours?
