Song 1 of the R&B songs was what I thought of using for the Movie Soundtrack round but I went with Kat DeLuna because I knew I wouldn't get eliminated because it was catchy enough to get some points.

I actually have I Am Sasha Fierce...so how did I not realize Smash Into You is so good

Bruno's song is surprisingly good. Much better than all of his annoying singles

Why are the Ella's of the UK so soulful?

Got through the rock songs.

Song 1 SUCKED but the other three songs were good. The Neon Trees lead singer is gay so it's easier to enjoy the song when he plays for your team - the Daughtry song I can kinda relate to because I definitely enjoyed my first 18 years of my life and sometimes I wish I could go back and relive them. The other song was cool, but I guess after listening to Neon Trees and Daughtry, it just doesn't feel as cool.

Song 1 was the best for both Pop & R&B while Song 4 was the best for rock.

Funny thing is that the song order was my exact rankings for Pop & R&B while it was the exact reverse order for the rock songs

This round is very crucial for us remaining contestants so I will just keep my comments to myself...I don't wanna give hints as to which my songs are and also which are not as I think that could affect some of your rankings.

But overall I liked this round. The rock songs were good, in fact I have 3/4 if them in my player already.

I expected to hear a lot of mainstream artists this being not a good round to send in unknown ones, and I was right.

Can't wait to read other's comments.

Sent! I liked the R&B bunch the best overall, but my favorite song this round was from the rock songs. My least favorite song was one of the pop songs.

I have no idea why using a male artist will make you a "chicken" to this game,
for me I think using a male artist is a risky choice

I think I'm going to be biased if I put Beyonce's song last because I like Jon McLaughlin's version better then hers

After listening to the songs the whole afternoon while working..

ROCK
Song 1: It just bored me.
Song 2: I really like the intro but when the verse started, it's like it just came flat and empty. The chorus is okay but it's not really the song I'll keep listening to.
Song 3: The vocals are somehow interesting, although I don't think in a good way. The song is something, I cannot really digest if I really like it or not. The melody and the song structure are really good, I am just somehow annoyed by the vocals. Overall, I think I like it and it'll grow on me if I continue listening to it for numerous times.
Song 4: I actually loved their album, and I love this song! Not really the first ones I'll play upon listening to the album but it's certainly a fine track and it's a really great entry for this round.

RnB:
Song 1: The intro screams RnB, but the song overall somehow leans more into pop. I love the vocals, and I know this song, although I have totally forgotten about it until hearing it in this game again. Nice song with great vocals.
Song 2: I think this also swerves more into pop. I don't like it.
Song 3: Is this RnB too? Anyway, great song! Always loved this and kudos to the sender, this is a sure safe entry.
Song 4: Well, this stands out from the rest because it's the most RnB song to this round, IMO. I actually don't like the song so much but I live for that soulful voice. This deserves credit though for standing out in the genre.

POP:
Song 1: What song is this? It's a bop! I also love the vocals, kinda James Morrisson-like, and I seriously love that guy's vocals! Amazing choice!
Song 2: I love the soft and simple melody of the song throughout, but some lines are very repetitive for a pop ballad like this. I love the message it conveys as well. Not sure how I'll rank this but it's definitely a nice choice.
Song 3: I have this album, and this one is really good. I may have preferred other options like Good Place or Who I Am but this one's great as well. I seriously wish he can have new music out. He's very talented.
Song 4: Safe entry, don't like it.

I usually listen to the songs for a couple of days to see which ones I really like...I don't judge at first listen
