It's not as if it's been over a month and the single flopped, so it becomes a buzz single. It's less than two weeks later and we're getting another single.
People really need to understand that Chasing the Sun was a true buzz single...Yes, it did not go to radio and hardly received any label attention. But in addition to that the song sampled I Can't Wait, her first song, something that only fans who have been with her through the years would have caught on to. Why reference something from 2002 on a legitimate single twelve years later if not for them?
I do agree that it was kind of a waste to blow the comeback hype on a just for fun song, though I'm sure they have this all planned out.
