FKA Twigs is a new artist that's been getting some major buzz recently (her debut album is out next week).
She has a unique sound and image, so unique that it's been copied by other artists (you know the one).
Emile Haynie, who produced Born to Die, produced a majority of Twigs' debut album, LP1.
Also, her music videos are very cinematic and stylistic.
She's pretty much this year's Lana Del Rey.
Do you agree?
Sorry for the confusion, I compared the two in terms of how buzzed-about they were with their debuts. They couldn't be further from each other musically, but I think they're both phenomenal and bring some fresh stuff to today's music.
Twigs is more talented, more original and more creative. She has more talent, and less success. She did this all by herself, while Lana is a product of her label. (Although she had more control on Ultraviolence).
