I had this problem about 2 months ago and Apple's recommendation in the Apple Store was an iPad air which is what I did, but I still have the old iPad 2 if anyone does come up with a better solution.

This isn't a solution to your problem, but a workaround would be to take your music on your computer, upload it to Google Music (all you need is a Gmail account), and then download the Google Music app to your iPad 2 so you can listen to it on there.

So I restored it and it's still not working, this is so ****ing frustrating. I have no other music medium available right now.

Are you trying to sign up for All-Access? Because that's their streaming service, you should be able to just skip that?
