The mold was a contributing factor yes, however she died from contracting a cold whilst she was shooting a movie in some other country. On top of that she was taking prescription drugs which her mother got for her under the name of Lola. Watch Autopsy: Brittany Murphy.

Also, Brittany died in Britney's old house which she bought. They said the mold has been there since she got the house.

Her father got her hair tested and it came back with loads of chemicals. However, it was ruled out to just being hair-dye.

I personally believe her mother was behind it all. She was with Brittany when she died. Right after she died she became messy and hooked up with her late-daughter's husband. Then HE dies while she with him, of a "heart attack". Coincidence? I think not. Guess who has any of the money they had.

She was also taking cough medicine to help ease the symptoms of her chest infection.

I always felt sorry for her, she was a good actress and after having success for a few years, it just stopped and she obviously took that badly. She never got the credit she deserved.
