Thank you. It's baffling why we get so much flack for calling these new, uninteresting artists with zero longevity "fads," because that's exactly what they are. I joke about Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj being fads (and to a certain extent, they both are) but at least they both have the mature, business mindset for longevity and will keep going as long as they want in the industry. Artists like Lana Del Rey, and Lorde, and Iggy Azalea, and Ariana Grande, and Becky G, and Meghan Trainor, etc are all just temporary artists, hardly worth talking about. But call Lorde a fad, and they go ballastic. These poor, naïve kids.
