"Ebola is for the gays sent by God" - Liberia Church Leaders

These religious countries always have it so backwards If God wanted to punish people for homosexuality with Ebola, he'd punish the US, UK and much of western Europe, etc. NOT places that already outlaw and/or give the DEATH PENALTY for homosexuality, like most of Africa and the Middle East, etc If anything, God would be rewarding them for their policies, but that doesn't seem to be the case
This actually infuriates me - not the homophobia, but the complete stupidity/lack of logic on their part
Mess, I'll never understand how god works , so innocent people are punished for things other people do ?
Anyway this type of logic-if we can even call it that- is just used by people who don't really understand much, they find a scapegoat that everyone dislikes to blame and some idiots join them and more innocent die
It sucks that religion has been turned into such a huge joke. Now, crazy people just make up things and say that God told them. It baffles me that people still take it seriously.
On another note, they need to stop publishing these stupid people. Yes, because everyone who has been infected/died from ebola is gay. And of course God would send it to central Africa of all places, one of the least gay-friendly areas with one of the smallest gay populations. Uh huh.
