No, she does need them, the exposure she got from Radio 1 was still big even if they didn't play it as much as they usually play their playlisted tracks.
I'm sorry I like Crazy Stupid Love, but it is still a poor song and they played that as much as they did because it was a Cheryl song, at least they had her on their B-List and then A-List for two weeks. If Cheryl comes back with a really strong song I am sure they will play the hell out of it.
