I really don't see the big deal with the cover. It fits the song. She's an artist. Why would she make a cover about cupcakes and rainbows to this song? I can see if Nicki was going around talking about sucking dick all the time, and doing adult videos.

I feel like I don't say it enough, but Nicki has so much respect right now. So much so that the one father who made that article dragging NIcki was basically slaughtered quickly by masses of women defending her, her right to show her ass, and the double standards of him calling out Nicki but not one other damn person in this rap game who is "promoting" far worse things. I really don't think that would have happened pre-2014 even in the Pink Friday era.

If I were to label the blog reception, I'd say for the most part it got generally positive reviews. Slw and I had a nice conversation shortly after the post on why it isn't "mixed" reception from blogs. I'd definitely say mixed reception from the GP , but the blogs generally had positive things to say about the track. I wouldn't say it got "overwhelmingly positive reviews" or "mostly positive reviews", but "generally positive reviews" sounds about right.
