I think I saw a mod refer to Lady Gaga was "Jim JonesGa" (I might be wrong could've been someone else). I thought that was pretty
ghoulish. Especially considering the Jim Jones suicide victims and also relating that to pre-teen emotionally disturbed gay kids who've committed suicide
all just to make a really cheap and unfunny jab at Gaga's fans (I also thought it was celebs/pop culture only in SYG and not fan base wars - I mean, why else would you call Gaga "Jim JonesGa" without intending to mock her fans who've got this weird suicide stereotype).
I don't know. I get the whole SYG thing but I feel like it gets way out of hand sometimes. I love dark humor but that's just cringeworthy. Especially considering that it's okay to do that but a bleach joke is an immediate WP. I guess a cheap joke at the expense of a dead gay child is worth keeping SYG open?
