I don't have to know you to know your comment was ignorant
The average length of time it takes for victims of abuse to come forward is 25 years (it's longer for those abused as a child) The victims of Rolf Harris took 30+ years to come forward and seek justice. The reasons behind this are complex and different for everyone. It could be due to their own feelings about what happened, including shame, isolation, not wanting to relive the trauma, fear of stigma as well as lack of support. Some people fear no one will believe them, there's a whole range of reasons why people wait so long, so unless you've personally experienced abuse, you're in no position to judge.
