And, by the way, I do miss Hard Core Kim. I seriously wish Biggie was still around to help her mold her sound. She definitely would have never fallen off like this had he not passed.

And helping mold her sound =/= writing things for her.

Obviously, he ghostwrote most of Hard Core, but I'm sure she would have started writing her own stuff eventually. And, with Biggie's guidance, she would still have respect and probably would be considered a great rapper not just a great female rapper.

Hard Core is a hip-hop classic for me despite just being the female version of Biggie's debut album.

N.K.I.M. has just as many highs as Hard Core, but it has some really bad lows that don't allow me to appreciate the album.

I do think she stepped her pen game up with her second album though. Her little involvement with Hard Core was prolly just due to label pressure to get an album out quickly.

Yeah and that's one of the reasons I don't pay complete dust to N.K.I.M.... You can tell it is more of Kim than Hard Core was.

While I don't condone domestic abuse, I do think she needed someone to say: "Hey, you are slipping. Let's sit down and talk about how we can keep you at the top." and I know Biggie would have done that.
