Not to rain on anyone's parade, but all Capcom is doing is blowing up the game's textures, CROPPING them into widescreen and applying a crappy filter. It'll end up looking much worse than it does on the GameCube.

It's a shame cause REmake is one of the best games ever. Oh well, if this sells well Capcom might make a legitimate HD remake of RE2

I'm one of those that started getting into RE with the second trilogy, tried the first three and didn't like them. If they released this at retail overseas packed with RE4 HD I'd buy it D1 tho

The screenshots already show it looks better though.
And the added textures is a nice bonus the game was already beautiful to begin with it looks even better now.

We also thought it would never be off of a Nintendo system so this is major.

The new controls will be unusable with the camera angles though. The tank controls are the only way to control decently. They're not impossible, they just take a few minutes to get used to
