Maybe because I was actually offended and you were personally attacking me? I'd love to argue about this in another place but not here since its off topic.
I wasn't even violating other people's rights, if the women are fine with it and are comfortable then good! do you see them fighting for this like how they are fighting to actually DRIVE? no
I support women in every decision they want so don't come at me with the "violating other people's rights" ********
Wearing hijabs/abays and Gay rights are TWO completely different subjects and you know it and this just shows how ignorant you are about religions.
Educate yourself a bit about Islam and Arab countries instead of just listening to the Western people.

I wasn't attacking you personally, it's the main deal with most Saudi Arabians, each individual, group, gender, etc... seem to be defending things that are directly-related to them and/or they agree on, then attack/violate/rob rights of people or things that don't resemble their individual personalities and you fighting for gay rights in your country yet defending your government's law against woman rights is a clear example.
Yes, they are completely different subjects but human rights are human rights, and things that a given human being view as trivial might be of high importance in views of another being.
You're claiming that women "feel comfortable with it so what's the point" when it's not even my point, countries surrounding KSA have hundreds of thousands if not millions of women wearing Abayas, as a choice, though; the government gave them their absolute right to decide on what to dress.

Plus there's a difference between a scarf, a veil and a abaya..

And how do you know the ratio of the "most" to the some?
Plus I don't need a lecture about the difference between a scarf etc,the fact still remains that when it comes to issues like this it depends largely on the orientation of the family of the woman involved,it's not just a matter of choice like you all want us to believe, but that's not to say that some women don't enjoy wearing such things, but the decision to wear or not to wear is not solely hers to make.

No its not the main deal with Saudi Arabians, you're just being racist and generalizing now who said I was DEFENDING that law? I'm only standing with what women want, I live here and its WHAT they want, no one is complaining about the hijab and abaya, like its not that hard to grasp OMG
Do you see them fighting against it? No.... I'm with every move they make, I'm not violating their rights, you are literally making up crap
They want to drive and they've made 1000000 campaigns and I've stood with them, am I violating their rights? is what you're implying? are you saying that me standing with what they want is "violating their rights"?
And I know damn well that my country is sexist but people like you overexaggerate.
Oh and you also have some nerve to compare gay rights to this.

Just because most or even all women are okay with the Abaya, doesn't mean that the country isn't gender-discriminating and violating human rights when forcing women to wear that thing.
You're not really "defending" them when forcing them to wear the thing most of them like to wear, women aren't even given a choice and that itself violates human rights.
10 million women wearing Abayas as a choice =/= the same 10 million women being forced to wear Abayas.
Plus, I only pointed out how you're violating woman rights when defending that ignorant law, I don't know or care about your career as an activist.

I'll only reply to the bolded part and ignore the other ******** that you keep repeating.
Once again, I'm with every decision they want, they clearly want to wear hijab/abaya and they aren't protesting against it like how they are protesting against other stuff.
I don't decide what women want here, you don't live here and you aren't educated about the country too (Stop listening to the media hunty)
If they want to wear hijab then good for them! are they protesting against the law? no they aren't but they are protesting against other things (i've said this above)
Once again, I stand with what WOMEN want here, YOU don't get decide what they want and I don't get to decide what they want.
Enough with this whole "human rights" stuff, stop acting like you're so informed about it when its not even the case here.

You don't even get it Most of them are comfortable wearing Abayas and it's great that you're supporting their decision and defending other rights they're demanding.
It's the right of choice that women don't have in Saudi Arabia when it comes to outfit, despite whether none, some, most or even all of them want to wear Abayas, they don't have a choice in the community and that itself is against woman and human rights, I don't have to be educated about the country (I know enough anyways), the culture or the religion to judge whether women there have the right of making a choice, it's just that simple.

Like I said, I'll fight for anything they want and they are clearly not fighting for their outfit choices, that's what YOU don't get.
No you're not educated enough because you compared this topic to the LGBT rights which is possibly one of the most ignorant comparisons I've ever read/seen on this site.
Middle East (Saudi, UAE, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, etc) in general is "against human rights" according to what you've been saying in this thread and don't even try to deny it, Saudi Arabia is just simply a little bit worse than them but people overexaggerate how bad it is.
There are other things Arabs are not allowed to do because there's a law against a few things.
I'm done here and I won't tolerate your ignorance anymore.

How exactly don't I get that you're fighting for what women demand? I even gave you kudos to that like twice
You don't seem to acknowledge the fact that a given government not letting a given gender have a choice on their outfit is the violation I'm talking about, it doesn't matter by 0.01% whether the given gender approves or disapproves the violation - "law"
Bringing other countries in won't really solidify your argument, we're discussing KSA here and I haven't made any statement about any country of the aforementioned.
But sure call me "ignorant" because I support human rights and the right of choice considering physical appearance, I'm "ignorant" for standing against a government that forces women to wear a loose black robe on daily basis

Well, what do you expect from a country where women are not allowed to drive cars?

If she were to go out in a T-Shirt she could get warned or fined, but definitely not stoned..
Only the more extreme cases get 'death sentences' - it isn't something that gets thrown out left and right...
