It's a pretty radical change from BTD though. BTD had stronger, poppier hooks and lighter vocals, whereas I think UV has a cooler but darker and more psychadelic rock vibe.

Much, much better than anything Cheryl Cole has done.

So I'm not the only one that noticed it with the more trollish ones.

The Madonna/Katy photoshoot and interview was one of the most embarrassing and awkward things I have ever seen. You could tell Madonna was only there to get attention by posing with Katy, their "dialogue" with each other was just so uncomfortable.

Bloody Mary is the only good song on BTW

Honestly monsters not appreciating ARTPOP cuz of how the era went is just silly. ARTPOP is better than BTW and better or at least equal to The Fame (not TFM which will be her peak forever)

I don't listen to Gaga anymore, but listening to Bloody Mary now, it just doesn't click with me anymore. The lyrics are such a damn tryhard mess. It's decent, but it doesn't go anywhere. To tell you the truth I loved it back in 2011 though. BTW was the only album I played for like three weeks after it leaked on... the 18th? Some **** like that.

It never gets old and has insane replay value. I play it a lot when I work out.


There are many songs I never play on BTW anymore: MTN, BTW, Americano, Hair, BJ+AF, FOHL, HU (RTL), & TQ. Which is half of the album lol.

But the other half is really strong: HML > Judas > TEoG > BM > Y&I > GH > EC > Scheisse > BK

Not sure why BK gets flack when it's actually a good song. Judas recently grew on me a lot again as well.

I often go from Marry The Night and skip to Judas. It's kinda a flawless transition. They're two of her best songs, sorry not sorry, sad to see them not do too well or be remembered.
