I'm pretty sure they were all edited post taping, especially the RDMAs. Notice the ones where she sounds normal are LIVE while these were pre-recorded and re-aired, giving them enough time ot edit her voice. I don't know how NOBODY hears it because it's blatantly obvious.
I don't know whether all of them were pre-recorded segments, but post-production is probably right.
For live transmissions, either pre-recorded "live sounding" vocals or actual live singing is the best option. Auto-Tune mics are really obvious when they are used.
Katy used one on the X Factor UK and it was so obvious.
Her voice in the studio obviously is corrected (everyone's is) but I was just surprised she did it live as well. Her fans are denying it like it's ridiculous, so apparently crazy.
Could be, we know that the voice of Adele's RITD and SLY are pure because that's the demo versions, but SFTTR, maybe but then hear her on Jools, near perfection only the last high notes aren't there.

Her fans call that "her best performance" and have used it many times to prove she can sing.

No, we were denying that her performances have auto-tune, and you changed the subject
Most people use pitch controls and edit their voice in some way during performances. I don't get why everyone always has to single out Ariana for things many people do...
The definition of auto tune is
a device or facility for tuning something automatically, especially a piece of computer software that enables the correction of an out-of-tune vocal performance.
You mean to tell me you didn't know what I mean because I used the wrong technical term? She obviously isn't T-pain-ing herself but still. I love Ariana but I just wanted to see if I was the only that noticed.
The majority of today's performances are massively or barely edited, it all depends on how good the artist is live. Based on the videos posted one can only hear a small difference from the one that wasn't edited so she doesn't rely on it at all which is a good thing ... She's a great live singer tbh

I'm just saying. You made it sound like the whole thing was some auto-tuned mess But I do get what you're saying.

The small difference is what made me think that might be hearing things, bu yes she is amazing, her Tattooed heart performance slay my soul!

This is the first time in my life I've actually done a spit take omg.
Problem is a really hard song to sing live and I've heard some editing and all that but there are plenty of live youtube videos from her last tour and jingle ball performances to prove she can sing. She does have a tiny bit of help though with Problem.
Her RDMA performance clearly was. If you listen to the video that was taken from the audience and the final version that made the air the G#5's in the chorus are no longer flat.
Edit: Wait at the OP claiming this beast is her "easiest song"
RDMA and Macy's 4th of July's performances have pitch correction just like the rest of the artists who have performed in those places as well (it happened to my fave Selena as well so i know about this)

I heard the original version of the RDMA performance and it was definitely edited, but I don't think it was edited while she was doing the performance.

If she could sing tattooed heart live at the mass and snatch by wig why couldn't she do this? I admit I exaggerate though.
They edit her vocals in some parts of the song during post production not that hard to understand. Mariah has done it for 20 years it's not a big deal!
