Desert, poor living conditions, terrorists, poverty, lack of food, lack of water, extreme temperatures, criminals, bombs, children being shot every day, extremely religious, homophobic, arranged marriages, etc.

Generally a completely ****ed up place that I wouldn't like to visit any time soon.

The vast majority of Pakistan is not desert. I think you're confusing it with a different part of the world.
