A lot of people attribute the knee injury sustained from that dance shot he's referring to as the reason Britney isn't able to dance well anymore. Ever since then, she's never done anything really choreography-heavy or complicated.
I don't know why you guys say that knee injury is to blame for her decreased dance. Her dancing in Do Somethin' and that spin she did in rehearsals were just as good as her dancing prior to the injury. Also, House of Blues Tour and Mannequin rehearsals were better than the dancing this decade. It's all to do with her motivation.
